- Your Pulse-Ox has been and continues to be a lifesaver. I was recently diagnosed with Emphysema and found out my O2 sat. goes down when I do not breath correctly. I decided to buy a pulse oximeter as I have a medical condition which makes my blood oxygen saturation lower than average and I do become slightly breathless on exertion.
