I really like the fact that this neblizer is portable and runs on regular double AA batteries. You can also purchase a cord to plug in. The only thing missing is a car adapter would be nice. Might be able to find one somewhere. Its a little touchy to get used to at first. This is the first one like this I have bought. I always wanted to get one like this and this is a really good price. I like the fact it doesnt use the hoses and its not loud. Im glad you can purchase the top if needed
